Witness of Tests
ec4ac offers to witness factory acceptance testing at the cable manufacturer's facility in accordance with international standards such as IEC 60840 or IEC 62067. This reduces your travel costs and the testing is overseen by an independent third party.
Failure Investigations
In the unlikely event of a failure at a cable accessory or a cable, ec4ac investigates the root cause for the failure. The oppinion of an independant third party will be required sometimes by insurance companies.
Development
ec4ac offers its knowledge and experience in the development of cable accessories for AC and DC. Dr. H. Gramespacher has obtained several patents and patent applications for HV cable accessories, both for AC and DC.
Seminars
ec4ac offers seminars in the field of HV cables. The seminars include for example design of HV cables, ampacity calculations, grounding at terminations and cable joints and cable laying. The seminars will be adjusted to the needs of the customer and can vary from 2 hours up to two days.
Efficency & Reliability

Especially in the case of unforeseen events such as an outage, it is important to have qualified experts for technical support at short notice. ec4ac has very short response times and is usually available in the shortest possible time in all parts of the world. Dr. H. Gramespacher has received several awards as e.g. the medal of the ETH Zurich, Switzerland which demonstrate the quality of his work. He has worked in companies in Switzerland and Germany in the field of power cables and accessories. Since 2014 he is working as an independant technical consultant in his own company.
